Aqua Signal GmbH in Bremen is one of the world’s leading suppliers of lighting solutions for recreational boats. From navigation lights through underwater spots to lighting systems for below deck: Aqua Signal offers water sports enthusiasts the powerful equipment to put their sports boats and yachts into the best possible light.

Recent innovations from Aqua Signal include, among others, the LED lights in the “Series 34“. These are approved for use on sport boats and yachts up to 50 metres in length and delight their users with their slim design and low weight, as well as a particularly long service life. The range of accessories and sound signals available which Aqua Signal has designed for recreational boats is also extensive. All new developments and products are subjected to extensive testing for Quality Assurance purposes in a unique environmental test centre where loading capacity plays a large role. Thus products from Aqua Signal meet the highest demands in terms of functionality, technology and design.

Aqua Signal can look back upon a long tradition of manufacturing lighting: the company has been supplying sources of light for more than 140 years, which serves to provide security, communication, comfort and also entertainment on board. Since it’s inception in 1979, Versalux Lighting Systems has grown into one of the largest and most respected suppliers of high performance lighting equipment to the commercial and industrial industries of Australia and New Zealand. We are a customer focused, service oriented organisation delivering quality product through application of innovative technology to the marketplace. The Group’s head office and manufacturing plant is based in Melbourne, Australia with offices across Australia and New Zealand employing approximately 80 people.

Versalux’s expertise covers a wide range of lighting sectors, and in response to their diverse requirements the company has defined a number of internal entities. A specially established Versalux office in the Gold Coast and another division in our Auckland office offer high quality Marine products for both recreational as well as commercial/industrial maritime applications.

For 17 years, Versalux has been Aqua Signal’s exclusive distributor to Australia and New Zealand. From humble tinnies to luxury yachts to warships, we have provided boat owners, ship-builders and chandleries with Aqua Signal products backed by expert service and in-depth lighting knowledge. Additional to our day-to-day supply, our larger projects have included Royal Australian Navy’s ships from the Anzac frigates of days gone by through to the new F500 class destroyers.
